Life history of Ezra Hohulin
Second child – Ezra was born February 3, 1902, at Goodfield, Illinois moved with his parents, to Morris, Minnesota in March 1907. He got all his country schooling in Dist. 16, the little school on the hill. Ezra was a easy going carefree youth, his schooling was more in fun than in books. Ice-skating, coasting, fishing, swimming.
Went to Fort Scott, Kansas later working at Gridley, and at Sabetha, Kansas where he met and won the hand of Marie Meyer. Marie Martha was the daughter of Rosena Meyer was born July 9, 1903. Ezra and Marie were married December 22, 1926, at Seneca, Kansas.
To this union six children were born.

Marie was a kind quiet mother with a sweet smile. I never heard her say one unkind word about anyone, just cared for her home. Marie Meyer Hohulin died a few hours after the birth of Vera. Was buried in the Apostolic Children Church Cemetery, near Sabetha, Kansas where she will sleep, until God calls her.
Robert was married Nov. 7, 1948, to Marie Bauer, born Nov. 10, 1927, daughter of Ernest and Mary (Yeargler) Bauer, of Cissna Park, Ill. A son Keith Richard was born Sept. 11, 1949, at Peoria, Illinois. Bob and Dit both repented young, were married at the Apostolic Christian Church, near Cissna Park, Ill. By Elder Yeargler.
Rose Marie repented young, is a graduate nurse at St. Francis. Richard repented young, is going to art school at Chicago, Ill. Fred finished school, is working at the Caterpillar Tractor, Co. Jimmy in High School, has a paper route. (Aunt Hank names James bought him a new outfit from head to toe, gave him a war bond because poor little Jimmy was born with poor eyes).
Vera is a sweet child, growing into young women-hood, is in school.
Ezra had a hard pull after Marie died, but God is Good, He hears and answers prayer, Ezra in his sorrow, found his “God”.
